GOSS is a dark pop / synth rock duo hailing from Istanbul, Turkiye. Based on a 2017 rock band where Serkan Serter played the guitar and Gözde Oktaş was on drums, GOSS was born in 2020 as a new project that merged the sound of synth-pop, dark pop, new wave, and electronic rock. Influenced by their feeling of melancholic rebellion, the duo released 15 singles, including a featuring name İZ with Deniz Tekin, and a 3-song Akustik EP.

GOSS made an appearance in İbrahim Selim ile “Bu Gece”, one of Turkiye’s popular talk shows, and their songs played by numerous local or national radio programs such as PowerTurk, Joy Turk or Radyo Eksen. The music clip of Kalbinin İçinde also aired for three months on PowerTurk TV. Moreover, GOSS not only appeared in the columns of renowned music journalists but also covered in the news and interviews of leading national print media such as Hurriyet, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Gazete Oksijen, or Gazete Pencere. In addition to being nominated for two consecutive years in the "Best Music Group" category at the Pantene Altın Kelebek Awards sponsored by P&G, GOSS also became the cover of Spotify Turkiye’s Fresh Finds Playlist following the release of Ağaç Kabukları during the summer 2023, a music list promoting new and alternative music groups across Turkiye. The song managed to stay at the top of the chart for 2.5 months.

​Having performed in Istanbul's leading concert venues such as Dorock XL, Babylon Istanbul, IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş, Blind Istanbul, Muze Gazhane, IF Performance Hall Ankara, GOSS took part in Turkiye's leading music festivals such as Babylon Soundgarden, CityFest, Record Store Day, Bağımsız Muzik Gunleri. The duo also gave public concerts organized by the Municipality of Kadıköy and Municipality of Besiktas, Istanbul.

GOSS is currently focusing on Olası Kazalar, their debut album project. The first singles from the album met with the audience in early 2024, and the complete album will be released in the Fall of 2024.
