GOSS, is an independent synth rock duo based in Kadıköy, Istanbul. Rooted in a rock band formed in 2017 with Serkan Serter on guitar and Gözde Oktaş on drums, GOSS evolved by 2020 to release original compositions inspired by synth-pop, dark pop, new wave, and electronic rock genres. Drawing inspiration from their melancholic rebellion, the duo has released 16 singles to date, including their duet “İZ” with Deniz Tekin, an Acoustic EP, and their debut album Olası Kazalar, launched on November 15, 2024.

Featured as a guest on Turkey’s popular talk show İbrahim Selim ile Bu Gece, GOSS’s songs have been broadcast on several national and international radio stations, including PowerTürk, Joy Türk, Radyo Eksen, Radio France International, and KALX Radio. Their music video for Kalbinin İçinde, widely acclaimed, aired on PowerTürk TV for three months. The duo has also been featured in leading national publications like Hürriyet, Cumhuriyet, Milliyet, Gazete Oksijen, and Gazete Pencere, along with coverage by prominent music columnists.

GOSS received consecutive nominations for "Best Music Group" at the Pantene Altın Kelebek Awards, sponsored by P&G. Their summer 2023 release Ağaç Kabukları was featured on the cover of Spotify Turkey’s Fresh Finds Türkiye playlist, staying at the top of the list for 2.5 months. Following this success, their 2024 single Eskisi Gibi  was also showcased as the cover of Spotify Turkey’s Keşif playlist.

On November 28, 2024, GOSS performed their first international concert at Echoes Haus in Bucharest, Romania. They also became the first group from Turkey selected to participate in the European Union-supported Sesame Project Songwriting Camp.

GOSS has graced the stages of Turkey’s most notable venues, including Babylon Istanbul, IF Performance Hall Beşiktaş, Dorock XL Kadıköy, IF Performance Hall Ankara, Blind, and Müze Gazhane. They’ve also performed at prominent festivals like Babylon Soundgarden Festival, CityFest, and Bağımsız Müzik Günleri(Independent Music Days), and  Kontra Plak Record Store Day as well as at university spring festivals. Additionally, they’ve hosted public concerts as part of Kadıköy Municipality’s Sahne Senin series and Beşiktaş Municipality’s May 19th celebrations.
