Michael Goss spent his youth in rural New York, on the banks of the Hudson River. It was there, at age 8, that he attended his first music festival and decided that music would be at the center of his life. By age 14 he and his best friend had created a working band, playing local venues. At 19 Goss moved to San Francisco and became immersed in the music scene and performed regularly. He spent the next 10 years playing venues in Boston, New York, Florida, Texas, and California. While in Los Angeles, Michael had the opportunity to explore other areas in the performance arts. He achieved moderate success as an active member of the Screen Actors Guild under the screen name James Falcon. During his travels Goss spent many years studying under a SiddhaYoga teacher and continues his spiritual practices through daily meditation, Tai Chi, and Kung fu. After taking a sabbatical to write music, work in the studio, and raise his children, Goss has returned to performing with renewed enthusiasm, energy, and creativity. He has masterfully woven the mystics and the blues to create a truly unique and soulful sound.
